Dr. Stephanie Sfiroudis, DDS

Periodontist

Dr. Sfiroudis is a periodontist who earned her degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she also went on to complete an advanced education program in that dental specialty. Her background includes dedicated volunteer work with underserved communities in Virginia and Tennessee, and Stephanie also spent time volunteering as a network mentor and contact point for aspiring dental students, guiding them and sharing professional insight into the field.

Dr. Sfiroudis has conducted research on gingival stem cells, salivary gland biology, and oral cancer among other focus areas. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Suffolk County Dental Society, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontics, which awarded her with a certificate of achievement for earning the highest GPA in her periodontal pre-doctoral classes. Stephanie is also a recipient of the Blasco C. Gomes Award for excellence in periodontics. She resides in Flushing, NY.
