Victor Katsman, DDS
General Practitioner/OWNER
Victor Katsman, DDS, graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. His goal is to offer dental care and services that everyone in the community feels confident in. He strives to ensure that every patient receives the care they need and deserve.
Dr. Katsman lives in Westchester, NY with his wife Lauren and their three girls, Amelia, Ellie, and Emma.
Michael Maiorino, DDS
General Practitioner
Michael Maiorino, DDS, is a General Dentist at Your Smile Dental of Hauppauge and Your Smile Dental in (Commack) with 25 years of dentistry experience.
Dr. Maiorino earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from NYU with honors and has continued his education in restorative dentistry, cosmetic procedures, and patient-centered care. He is committed to staying current with the latest techniques and technology to provide the best possible outcomes for his patients. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In addition to dentistry, Dr. Maiorino served as a first responder volunteer during 9/11 and has received humanitarian awards as well as the Empire State Medal of Freedom award.
He was drawn to dentistry because it combines hands-on work, problem-solving, and the ability to improve both health and confidence. Dr. Maiorino especially enjoys building relationships with patients and helping those with dental anxiety feel more comfortable and confident during their visits.
He is especially passionate about restorative and cosmetic dentistry, along with preventive care. His approach to patient care is patient-focused, honest, and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on clear communication, comfort, and efficiency.
Dr. Maiorino appreciates being able to use his 25 years of Dental experience to help patients solve real problems related to pain, function, and confidence, which continues to make his work meaningful.
Outside of work, he enjoys drawing, fishing, cars, guitar, coffee, spending time outdoors, staying active, and being with family.
Antonio Casanova, DDS
General Practitioner
Antonio Casanova, DDS, is a trustworthy dentist with 29 years of experience carefully analyzing patient dental problems by studying symptoms and conducting treatment accordingly. He has sound knowledge of the proper use of dental equipment and tools and efficiently handles back-to-back patients while educating them on different aspects of dental healthcare.
Dr. Casanova has experience in all phases of dentistry, including tooth repair, dental impressions, preventive care, placing crowns, tooth extraction, root canal procedures, cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, emergency dental care, treatment planning, and oral cancer screenings. He has also designed and fitted patients with dentures, bridges, and other prosthodontic dental appliances.
His professional experience includes serving as a dentist at The Smilist in Garden City, NY, and practicing with Antonio Casanova & Bruce Goldman where he worked in private practice, all phases of dentistry, and an administrative position. He also completed a postgraduate implant program at NYU and worked as an associate dentist and dentist in previous positions.
Dr. Casanova earned his DDS in Dentistry from NYU, completing his degree from 1990 to 1994, and completed a residency program at Queens Hospital Center. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with dental hygienists to ensure optimal patient care, adhered to professional standards of practice, participated in continuing education courses, and developed long-term relationships with patients through excellent customer service skills. He is also native/bilingual in Spanish.
Paul Lanza, DDS
General Practitioner
Paul Lanza, DDS, has been providing exceptional dental care for more than four decades. A graduate of the NYU College of Dentistry in 1986, Dr. Lanza has dedicated his career to helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles through compassionate and personalized care. He continues to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry through ongoing continuing education courses and professional development.
Passionate about restorative and general dentistry, Dr. Lanza finds great fulfillment in helping patients restore both function and confidence in their smiles. He especially enjoys making dental visits a positive and comfortable experience, particularly for patients who may feel anxious or nervous about treatment.
Dr. Lanza is known for his direct, honest, and educational approach to patient care. He believes in clearly explaining treatment options and involving patients in every step of the decision-making process. His philosophy is simple: treat patients as people, not just as patients. This caring approach has helped him build strong and lasting relationships with those he serves.
One of the aspects Dr. Lanza enjoys most about dentistry is meeting people from different cultures and learning about their backgrounds, traditions, and experiences. He values the personal connections he creates with patients and appreciates the trust they place in him.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lanza enjoys gardening, spending quiet time at home, and finding peace in nature after a busy workday. He also proudly jokes that he “makes great meatballs,” adding warmth and personality to his patient relationships.
Jonathan M. Cohen, DDS
ORAL SURGEON
Jonathan M. Cohen, DDS, was born and raised in Great Neck, NY.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with multiple honors.
He then completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore LIJ, where he was able to gain more clinical exposure to all aspects of restorative dentistry, Dental Implantology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
After completing his general practice training, he went on to complete five years of residency in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and University Hospital, a Level One Trauma Center in Newark, NJ.
During his last year of residency, he served as the Chief Resident. During that time he would perform the most complex procedures while having the opportunity to educate students and residents in both clinical and academic Oral Surgery.
While training at Rutgers, Dr. Cohen twice received the patient advocacy award, recognized by the hospital for his gentle nature and excellence in patient care. Dr. Cohen has active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Nicole A. Teehan, DDS

Nicole A. Teehan, DDS, is a compassionate and patient-focused dentist who has been dedicated to the field of dentistry since 2001. She began her career as a dental assistant before returning to school to pursue her dental degree, giving her a well-rounded understanding of patient care and the dental experience.
She earned her dental education from the Loma Linda School of Dentistry and completed her Chief Residency at Brookdale Hospital from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Teehan is passionate about oral rehabilitation and helping patients regain both comfort and function through personalized treatment plans.
Known for her gentle, personal, and patient-focused approach, Dr. Teehan believes in making every patient feel comfortable and cared for during their visit. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping create a positive dental experience, especially for those who may feel anxious about treatment.
Dr. Teehan values collaboration with her team members to provide comprehensive patient care and believes in treating patients with honesty and compassion. Her philosophy is to recommend the same care she would suggest for her own family members.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Teehan enjoys traveling, running marathons, and spending time with her four dogs and two cats. Patients may also be surprised to learn that she owns a bar in Queens, reflecting her energetic and entrepreneurial personality.
Jonathan Morcos, DDS

Jonathan Morcos, DDS, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive oral, implant, and dentalveolar surgery care to his patients.
Born in Nassau County, New York, Dr. Morcos earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University before completing four years of specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center. His training concluded with serving as Chief Resident in the Department of Oral Surgery.
Dr. Morcos remains committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advancements in oral surgery and patient care. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Dental Association. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Dental General Anesthesia.
Throughout his career, Dr. Morcos has performed countless procedures ranging from wisdom teeth extractions to maxillofacial trauma and reconstructive surgery. He is also experienced in research and education, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national conventions on topics including implant surgery, facial trauma, and orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Morcos has lectured at venues including the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the New York State Society for Oral Surgery meetings, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons meetings, and New York University.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Morcos enjoys spending time with his wife and young children.
Rafael Badalov, DDS
Extractions/Implantologist
Rafael Badalov, DDS, provides care at our Selden, Commack, Village, Freeport, and Hauppauge locations. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the NYU College of Dentistry in 2022, completed a General Practice Dentistry Residency at Kings County Hospital Center in 2023, and an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center in 2025.
Dr. Badalov has also completed live implant training (May 2026) and is pursuing Master membership with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and membership with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP). He has been practicing dentistry since 2022, inspired by his childhood pediatric dentist, whose energy, compassion, and ability to make patients feel at ease sparked his passion for dentistry and surgical care.
Dr. Badalov enjoys alleviating pain, helping patients improve their oral health and quality of life, and educating them so they can make informed decisions about their long-term dental health. He is especially passionate about dentoalveolar surgery, complex extractions, implant-based restorations, oral pathology, and the surgical management of complex cases.
He finds it incredibly rewarding to restore patients’ function, comfort, and confidence through surgical care, while emphasizing comprehensive treatment planning, bone grafting, socket preservation, and ridge augmentation to achieve lasting results.
His approach to patient care is comprehensive, patient-centered, and built on trust. He strives to provide honest treatment planning, precise and gentle care, and an experience where every patient feels heard, comfortable, and better than when they arrived. He also appreciates the practice’s talented team, patient-first philosophy, and commitment to using high-quality surgical materials that contribute to better patient outcomes.
Outside of work, Dr. Badalov enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, reading, exercising, running, and relaxing with great movies and television series. Some of his favorites include Pulp Fiction, The Dark Knight, Game of Thrones, and The Sopranos.
A fun fact that patients may enjoy is that he once removed a tooth from a crocodile—yes, really! One of his favorite quotes is, “Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.”
Saro Atam, DMD, MS
ORTHODONTIST
Saro Atam, DMD, MS is a board-certified orthodontist with extensive training and experience in comprehensive orthodontic care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master’s in Biomedical Sciences at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Atam is experienced in a wide range of orthodontic techniques and technologies, including conventional orthodontics, the Damon System, Invisalign, ULAB, 3M Clarity Aligners, TADs, and implant-supported palatal expanders. He also has expertise in Phase I orthodontic treatment, digital orthodontic workflows, 3D printing and scanning systems, appliance fabrication, and wire bending.
He currently practices orthodontics at multiple dental practices and at NYU Langone Hospital, where he is involved in cleft lip and cleft palate care. His professional achievements include the JCO Resident of the Year Award and the AAOF Charles J. Burstone Research Aid Award, along with several clinical and research honors. His research interests include digital orthodontic workflows, 3D printing, appliance fabrication, and dental materials.
Allie Luxenberg, DDS
PERIODONTIST
Allie Luxenberg, DDS, is a periodontist who has been practicing for the last 7 years. She attended Columbia University, where she majored in Biology, before earning her dental degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She then completed NYU’s Advanced Education Program in Periodontics.
Dr. Luxenberg is especially passionate about implant dentistry and helping patients restore their smiles and achieve their quality-of-life goals. She enjoys being able to help patients solve dental problems and feels fortunate to make a positive impact through her work every day.
Her approach to patient care focuses on creating comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She also appreciates working closely with the restorative dentists at the practice, allowing patients to receive complete care within one office so that no detail is overlooked.
Patients often know Dr. Luxenberg for being a very gentle periodontist.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Brooke, RDH
HYGIENIST
Brooke has been working in the dental field since 2009 and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014 after beginning her career as a dental assistant. What started as a part-time job while studying graphic design quickly turned into a passion for patient care after seeing the positive impact hygienists have on their patients.
Brooke is a Registered Dental Hygienist with certifications in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide monitoring and administration. She is also BLS certified and regularly continues her education to stay current with the latest advancements in dental care.
She is especially passionate about preventive dentistry and helping patients understand the connection between oral health and overall health. Brooke enjoys helping apprehensive patients feel comfortable and creating a positive experience where patients can actually enjoy their visits.
Her approach to patient care is gentle, thorough, detail-oriented, and empathetic. She also enjoys bringing humor into the dental chair and making sure patients leave the office happier than when they arrived.
Brooke appreciates her coworkers and the wonderful patients she gets to see every day. Outside of work, she is a proud mom of three and is currently serving as a Girl Scout troop leader for her daughter’s troop. She and her family love everything Disney, including trips to Disney World and Disney Cruises. She also enjoys gaming, crafting, dining out, and watching true crime documentaries.
Brooke believes in treating everyone with kindness and empathy and values the opportunity to meet new people while helping patients achieve healthy, happy smiles.

Taylor is a compassionate and dedicated dental hygienist who is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental care experience. She is known for her gentle and educational approach to patient treatment.
Taylor earned an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from SUNY Old Westbury, and an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Her diverse educational background allows her to connect with patients on both a personal and professional level while providing thorough and attentive care.
One of the things Taylor enjoys most about working with patients is helping them feel calm, comfortable, and at ease during their visits. She understands that dental appointments can sometimes be stressful, and she takes pride in creating a supportive environment where patients feel cared for and informed.
Taylor describes her approach to patient care as compassionate and educational. She believes in building trust with patients through kindness, communication, and personalized attention to help them achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

Lisa is a Registered Dental Hygienist serving patients at the Hauppauge, Commack, and Selden locations.
Lisa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Associate’s degree in Applied Sciences with a focus in Dental Hygiene. She is also a member of the Queens County Dental Society.
She has worked in dentistry for over 10 years, beginning her career as a dental assistant before furthering her education in dental hygiene because of her love for clinical dentistry. Lisa enjoys helping patients achieve the smile they have always dreamed of while also improving their overall oral health.
Lisa values building personal relationships with her patients. She is especially passionate about preventive dentistry, patient education, and periodontic specialty care.
Her approach to patient care is compassionate, detail-oriented, and relationship-focused, with the goal of helping patients achieve all of their dental health goals.
She appreciates the family-like team environment within the practice and the shared commitment to providing the best care possible for patients. She also values the use of advanced technology, including Laser Bacterial Removal Therapy, to help ensure patients maintain stable and healthy periodontium.

Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 13 years of experience in the field. She holds an Associate of Liberal Arts and an Associate of Applied Science, and brings a genuine passion for patient education to every visit.
What Jessica loves most about her work is helping patients understand their oral health so they feel motivated to care for it at home, there’s nothing she finds more rewarding than watching a patient’s home care routine transform and seeing real improvement in gum health as a result. She has a special interest in functional and cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign and laser therapy.
Jessica’s approach to patient care is compassionate, gentle, and relationship-focused, with a strong emphasis on education, she takes the time to make sure every patient feels comfortable and informed. At the practice, she especially values the team culture, the shared philosophy of care, and the relationships she builds with patients.
Outside the office, Jessica enjoys hiking, volunteering, and spending time with her husband and two kids, including the occasional lightsaber duel. Fun fact: she’s a proud Jedi and Whovian!
